Charming, beautiful, quiet. The hostess, Xinyuan, was wonderful in providing recommendations for restaurants, vineyard tours etc. The gardens are great, the swimming pool is nice. Overall, very happy.

” The place is beautiful, a stunning chateau in the countryside very close to Bordeaux. Rooms have very high ceilings and are beautifully renovated, quiet and calmess dominate the compound while il takes 30 minutes (19km) to get to the centre of Bordeaux. The river flows just in front of the compound, which makes the whole thing all the more nice and charming. I think that something must have changed lately, the place has moved from one with services like restaurant etc… to a more B&B style, but this did not impact our stay there since it is a really 5 star location, I think I can say the nicest overall I have ever been to. If you are in search of a stunning place, close to Bordeaux but withou all the hustle and bustle of the city, and dominated by calmess and very good hosts Chateau Peyronnet is the place for you.
